VLADIMIR PUTIN INVITES GREEK PARTNERS TO THE EASTERN ECONOMIC FORUM

Russian President Vladimir Putin, during his visit to Greece, invited representatives of this nation to take part in the Eastern Economic Forum, to be held in Vladivostok this September (2–3), informs the website of the Ministry for the Development of Russia’s Far East of the Russian Federation.
Following the negotiations between the heads of Russia and Greece in Athens, Vladimir Putin invited Greece to EEF 2016 during the joint press conference. “I’d like to thank the Greek side for the status of honourary guest it bestowed upon our country at the International Fair in Thessaloniki. We’ll be actively promoting this significant event. For our part, we are looking forward to meeting with our Greek colleagues at the upcoming international economic forums in St. Petersburg and Vladivostok, in Russia’s Far East”, said the Russian head of state.
To crown the visit, a package of documents regarding engagement in such areas as investments, agricultural-industrial complex, energy efficiency, tourism, energy and interregional cooperation were signed in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
