THE PROGRAM OF EASTERN ECONOMIC FORUM FEATURES A GALA CONCERT OF MARIINSKY THEATER STARS LED BY VALERY GERGIEV

Organizers of the first Eastern Economic Forum, which will be held in Vladivostok on September 3–5, 2015, have revealed the details of the entertainment program.
The Forum will open on September 2 with a welcome reception by the Governor of the Primorsky Krai Vladimir Miklushevsky.
Laying of the foundation stone of the “Alley of Russia” will take place on September 4: Deputy Prime Minister of the RF and Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Russia Sergey Donskoy, and Governor of Primorsky Krai Vladimir Miklushevsky will lay a symbolic stone on the Alley, which will be made of 85 trees — the number of constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
On September 4, the participants will enjoy an unforgettable performance by soloists of the Mariinsky Theater led by a world-famous conductor Valery Gergiev.
On the same day, participants and guests of Eastern Economic Forum — 2015 will see classic and exotic rowing competitions in the offshore zone: including the race on “dragon” boats featuring the participation of the “Vladivostok Tigers” team. In addition, the unique “Peter the Great Bay Bowl” yacht race will commence on September 4.
Lovers of sporting events will have an opportunity to go to the Fetisov Arena on September 4 to see the “Battle of the Champions”. The arena will host a competition of the Russian National Team with the Rest of the World in various martial arts. Two fights for the title of world champion will be held as part of this meeting.
In addition to competitions and performances, the guests and participants of Eastern Economic Forum will enjoy an exhibition “Street of East Russia”, which will consist of nine pavilions, according to the number of regions of East Russia. The exhibition will provide an opportunity to learn more about the unique and rich culture, art and history of each region. Starting from September 6, the pavilions will open their doors to all residents of the city.
The Forum’s final event will be a night water show on September 5, which is unprecedented in Russia in terms of its scale: best flyboard riders, jet-ski riders and hydro jetpack pilots will demonstrate their art in the waters of Ajax Bay.
