THE GOVERNMENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION CONFIRMS CREATION OF A FAR EAST ASEZ

Minister of the RF for Development of the Far East Alexander Galushka announces that ASEZ enterprises will provide the region with new industrial facilities and more than a thousand new jobs.
“Dmitry Medvedev has signed a Resolution on creation of the Amuro-Khinganskaya Advanced Special Economic Zone in the Jewish Autonomous Region”, the Ministry for Development of the Far East press service announced. The Ministry’s initiative to set up a ASEZ was approved in June at a meeting of the Government Commission for investment projects in the Far East.
The new ASEZ will include enterprises engaged in granite mining and enrichment, soy and wood processing, metal structure and rigging production for agricultural equipment. A hotel complex will be built.
“Over RUB 17 bn in private investment have been raised. Over a decade, tax revenues to all budget levels will exceed RUB 11 bn”, A. Galushka noted.
