THE EASTERN ECONOMIC FORUM TO WELCOME A SIZEABLE DELEGATION FROM INDIA

According to RIA Novosti, during his visit to Vladivostok, Ambassador of India to the Russian Federation Pankaj Saran discussed opportunities for expanded economic cooperation between India and Russia.
During a working meeting with the Acting Mayor of Vladivostok Konstantin Loboda, Indian Ambassador to the Russian Federation Pankaj Saran announced that a large delegation from India would be taking part in this year’s Eurasian Economic Forum.
The officials used the meeting at the city administration’s headquarters to consider opportunities for expanded economic cooperation between the two countries, setting out to determine the potential role of India’s business community in the future of Vladivostok.
“During the working meeting, both parties agreed that Vladivostok’s new Free Port status will provide a strong impetus to increased cooperation between our nations”, the mayor’s office announced in a press release.
