THE AUTHORS OF THE BEST IDEAS FOR USING THE FAR EAST HECTARE WILL RECEIVE VOUCHERS FOR ATTENDING THE EASTERN ECONOMIC FORUM

Owing to the large number of applications, the Agency for the Development of Human Capital in the Far East has extended the competition for two weeks, according to Primorskaya Gazeta, the official publication of the Primorsky Region state authorities.
The five finalists in the competition will receive an opportunity to attend the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok on 2–3 September 2016. The deadline for submitting applications was 1 July but the organizers have prolonged the competition for another two weeks.
“We have received over 300 applications and the expert council is now considering them. We are receiving very interesting ideas,” we were told at the Agency.
The competition finalists will be exempt from the organizational contribution of RUB 150,000 (if it is a company, not an individual), and will be provided with accommodation and paid travel to and from Vladivostok.
Russian citizens over the age of 11 years and organizations registered in the Russian Federation may participate in the competition of ideas for using the Far East Hectare. The jury will evaluate the ideas according to several criteria: relevance and the possibility of implementing the idea on the territory of the Far East, the detail in which the project has been drawn up, how attainable the project results are, prospects for further development, creativeness, novelty, and originality.
