    04 September 2015

Russia Alley stands opposite Building A, the main building of the Far East Federal University (FEFU). This building was planted as part of the opening ceremonies for the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), which is being held from 3 to 5 September, 2015 at the University. Russia Alley was planted with young plants that are representative of each constituent member of the Russian Federation, including all nine regions the Far Eastern Federal Area comprises.

The Alley symbolizes the integrity of the Russian territory, a unity of the historic, cultural, linguistic, and economic value of Russia. The official opening of Russia Alley was dedicated tothe President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, and his visit to FEFU. He flew in to open the Forum and make a statement as part of its plenary session.
