24 October 2016
The list was prepared by the Ministry for the Development of Russian Far East on the basis of the Russian Regional Investment Climate Index for 2015, according to a press release issued by the Government of Primorsky Territory.
The average time taken to register a legal entity in Primorsky Territory is 9.63 days, whereas in the most progressive regions, it is 9.89 days. Another indicator in which Primorsky Territory is leading the way is the assessment of the authorities’ activities with regard to issuing building permits. The third indicator is the average number of steps required to complete state registration of ownership rights. This was 3.04 in Primorsky Territory (the average figure for Russia is 3.18).
Primorsky Territory Governor Vladimir Miklushevsky stressed that “Our priority is to ensure real improvement of the regional investment climate, rather than achieving formal ratings on paper.”
At the end of August 2016, Primorsky Territory was ranked first in the seventh rating of Russia’s most attractive regions for investment.
