JAPANESE PRIME MINISTER SHINZO ABE TO PARTICIPATE IN EASTERN ECONOMIC FORUM

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has accepted the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin to attend the Second Eastern Economic Forum. The announcement was made by Japan’s Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga, TASS reports.
During his visit to the Eastern Economic Forum, which will be held in Vladivostok on 2–3 September 2016, Abe will hold talks with Putin.
According to Suga, seeking a solution for the two states’ territorial disagreement and peace treaty issues will be among the key topics for discussion between the leaders of the two nations.
