IMPLEMENTATION OF FIRST INVESTMENT PROJECTS AS PART OF VLADIVOSTOK FREE PORT GETS UNDERWAY ON KAMCHATKA

Residents are set to invest RUB 900 million in the development of the region, reports RIA Novosti.
The first potential Vladivostok Free Port residents intend to build a modern hotel and develop a native-style village in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
“These projects are already being implemented, the land for the construction has been allocated, and construction has begun,” said Marina Subbota, Vice Governor of Kamchatka Territory.
The declared investment volume for the construction of the 140-room hotel complex amounts to RUB 650 million, while the declared investment in the creation of a tourist attraction with an ethnic village on the shore of Lake Kultuchnoe is approximately RUB 260 million.
The government of Kamchatka Territory is currently considering another 16 proposals from potential Vladivostok Free Port residenrts with a minimum total investment of RUB 20 billion.
The Vladivostok Free Port scheme was extended to the territory of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in June 2016.
