    According to the Far East Capital resource, the first agreement on the operations of LLC StroyInvest-Energiya in the advanced special economic zone Beringovsky has been signed in the Chukotka Autonomous District.  

    StroyInvest-Energiya plans to deliver a project for upgrading and operating wind power plants. The agreement has been signed for a term of 21 years.

    Governor of Chukotka AD Roman Kopin said he hopes the resident’s activities will be successful and productive: “We expect positive results from the activities of both the registered resident and other potential stakeholders in this zone.”

    In the words of Director of the Chukotka Development Foundation Olga Plotnikova, three other applications for participation in ASEZ Beringovsky are currently being considered, while four others are at the stage of preliminary elaboration.

    In order to become a resident of ASEZ Beringovsky, a candidate company must be registered on the territory of Chukotka AD, have a business plan and a start-up capital from RUB 500,000.
